It’s trivia tuesday! Time for a drink
Hey gang,
I’m back in the saddle today. Gonna be a long one. I’m learning ordering and inventory at the bar. I love helping out my team. We are opening a new restaurant and brewery here in Reno soon, Brasserie St. James (about the beginning of July) and shit is gonna be busy. While they are focused on putting their efforts into starting this new place, I’m giving all of my love to helping out with my favorite bar that I have worked at ever!
I’m heading down in a couple of hours, however doors do not open until 3pm. FYI- from 3-7pm is a great time to have some 1 one 1 time with me. Come have a drink and say hello. Try a new beer, taste a new beer, chat, you know, fun.
Our bad ass trivia starts about 8:30pmish. This is a great time to show up to get a seat! We have a lot of fun here in Reno on Tuesday nights. If you enjoy a great mental massage, sharing fun with an entire room full of people, where shit get’s fun and wild at times, and the tie breakers are to die for! then you know where to find yourself tonight.

What I like to do is this. I Get to know somebody on how they treat others. I watch their bar etiquette and see how either high maintenance they are, (which is not always bad, it can be done with class), how generally bossy and rude they can be, or how kind and polite they are.
I get to see how people are in their true form. This is how I have learned a lot about people. I read all kinds of people. I’ve been in this industry serving/bartending for 20 years.
Thankfully, in my life, MOST have been really sweet, polite, and well mannered. I think these kind of aspects while in a bar are important.
Human to human skills are very important life skills to have in this life. Practice being kind, practice being gentle, we are human, not robots.
