I’m in a Beatles love craze right now!  I just watched Martin Scorseses documentary on George Harrison: Living in a Material World.  You have got to watch it!

George is MY FAVORITE BEATLE :)  John Lennon is right there with him!

Another Titilating Tuesday at St. James Infirmary.

The weather was beautiful and the vibe was cheerful.  I love visiting with friends on the early part of  my shift.  It’s the best time to catch up before the rush comes in.

Talked music, camping, hunting, sustainable community, politics (I know!!!) however I feel when people are actually talking to each other and listening, and sharing differences, we are getting somewhere.  Yelling and speaking at each other doesn’t help us work together.  We are after all in this together you know ;)  People want to be heard, it’s our human element.  Listen, have compassion for others, even when it is different.

To be heard, you must Listen.

Shone and I were just discussing together, what long term effects are created when we choose to live in a kind and positive energy.  Regardless of what situations are on the rise, everybody has issues to deal with, stress to manage, and life to live.  Imagine moving past the hate, the fear, and treating others poorly, imagine what world we would live in then.   I can tell you, the benefits are out of this world.  I’ll keep putting my best foot forward everyday, it’s worth all of the effort.

Talked “shop” with some tech guys that are becoming regulars on tuesday afternoons.  Cool group of guys, I love having the opportunity to explore different thoughts and notions about servers, community platforms, tech, etc.  We all have a different path, a different view, and I love sharing in these different perspectives.  Shone and I are old school in so many ways.  I dig it ;)  Building an online empire is not easy, we’ve seen countless companies around us fail, even with million dollars in funding.  Yes, we will stick to our humble and independently owned path.  We put our heart and soul into every ounce of our company.  It’s very fulfilling, and sharing it together with my baby love means everything to me.

(Hi colin! great chatting with you as always, you mentioned you are reading this blog)

We have a new beer on tap. The Bruery  Autumn Maple.  I tasted this beer last night.  Packs a punch with 10.5% alcohol, but a perfect beer alongside with the Jolly Pumpkin Luciernage: Spicy Belgian Pale Ale.  The Fall has arrived in Reno.

Visited with customers, set up a time to meet for drinks this saturday at St. James Infirmary, we are heading to the Reno Decompression.  I can hardly wait.  I think I might have recruited some more virgins.  It’s a great way to get a taste of burning man from reno.  Meet new people, and see what all of us monkeys do at a party like this ;).

I have some news for you all too.  I’ve had the incredible honor of being asked to close at St. James Infirmary.  oh yeah baby!  Stepping my game up, and always helping out the family.  Gonna learn some management stuffs possibly too.  Looks like I’ll be closing Saturday nights.  I’ll come in at 10pm and be there anywhere from 4am-6am.  Just like I like it.  It’s going to be a great winter.  I’m so happy to help out.  I love my job!

*not sure when I start yet, but I’m hoping that you will all consider making it your place to land on saturdays.  I want to pack the bar full of friends = )

I wanted to thank all of you too that read my blog.  Thanks for hanging with me.  This blog serves so many roles in my life, and I am grateful that you guys even take the time to read it.

see you tonight.  I’m in at 6pm-10pmish sometimes midnight = )
