Peter Bernato Spinning Vinyls Live on Wed: Martha and the Vandellas: Nowhere to Run

What a night.  I love the flow and pace of our wednesday nights at St. James Infirmary.  My shift started at 6pm and I was cut at midnight.  I arrived with Jamie on the bar, a going away party for one our patrons, business people having their meetings, and a peaceful vibe of drinking and visiting.  I can’t tell you how much this bar has nurtured me this past year.

I tasted DeuS last night. It’s a $45 bottle of heaven! Served in a champagne flute.  Wow!  If you are looking for something amazing to celebrate a special occasion, you really should consider trying this bottle of beer.  It’s light, and smooth, and damn amazing!

It’s beer and wine season.  If you are looking for something to keep you warm and fuzzy, we’ve got your back.

The bar was filled last night, every seat, every booth.  A relaxing and enjoyable pace while patrons watched movies, ordered food from the food truck, and listened to great music.  Met a couple of guys on the bar last night.  One is moving from Oregon and is looking to buy a house in Reno.  After his first visit at St. James Infirmary, I think he has decided to move near the downtown area.

Good people, great times, and stimulating conversations.

Winter is coming, find yourself and your bootay in our bar.  You’ll stay warm and cozy!

I’m in at 5pm tonight.  If you are looking for something to do.

xoxo

p.s. Tom, you gave me a music history lesson last night, and I lost that bar napkin!  Must have been the glass of wine I had after work.  Let me know again please!!  I love that song, and can’t find the artist. ;)

Jordan spinning vinyls Live:  Holly GoLightly

*We have a champagne cocktail at St. James Infirmary called the Holly Golightly, come in and try one.

Back in Action!

Had a wonderful few evenings off.  I used this time to relax, catch up on work, and visit with out of town friends, plan projects, and make some decisions.  Life is always an adventure.  So thankful!!!

Arrived at work on wednesday night to a peaceful gathering of patrons.  I just love getting into the many random and spectacular conversations that occur at the bar.  I take in a lot of information, especially with the latest in Reno.

Thanks to Sylvan I have a new book to read.  I can be part of the book club on wednesday nights.  This book blends a lot of my worlds, and as of yet, I have read the first preface 1999, there is another 1990, and then the book begins.  I already find it fascinating.  I’m thankful for the book selection.

We started a conversation about co-existing.  It is a subject that I will continue to bring up in different social circles.  I’m fascinated by the views and barriers that we as a human collective continue to dispense.

I love all of the ladies that continue to frequent the bar.  Keep it coming ladies, you are worshipped and appreciated.  Date nights, girl gatherings, dancing, photo booth, cocktails, and so much more.  I love to hear what’s going on in your lives.

Got into a conversation with a few ladies last night about boobs and they wanted to know why I am always happy.  Without having a lot of time to get into it, I said that I feel that by

1. holding myself accountable for my actions and life helps me make better decisions, thus keeping my happiness more sustainable and long term.

2.  having something/somebody in my life that I love more than myself.  I agree, it’s important to have self love, but I think it’s important to keep an eye on that self love.  It’s easy to hide behind.  It’s much more engaging to put your LOVE into an external source outside of yourself, and benefit, grow, and continue to evolve from all of the unconditional LOVE that it requires to maintain.

*I also highly recommended a great surgeon if you want a boob job.  I love my boobs, I’m so happy I made the decision many many years ago.  Take your time, research, find out about skill level, and results.  My doctor was Louis Bonaldi here in Reno.  He’s amazing!

Did you all catch this video?  I love Buster Blue, check out their upcoming shows in Reno, support local and amazing artists.

I’m in at 5pm tonight.  Come on down and say hello.
